"I am creating a legacy with my words, both spoken and written. A legacy where words match actions, and speak dreams into fruition with the action and devotion to build and create it. My legacy will be sustained through changed DNA expressions, maintaining a healthy mind, body and spirit. I am creating a legacy of storytelling, truth seeking & healing, remaining the author of my own story while simultaneously continuing and honoring the stories of those who have walked, fought and loved before me.
My legacy will be the embodiment of what I believe to be true & that is, that who we are is why we are here. We are here because we have something unique to offer this world. We are here because we have ancestors who prayed for our conception, our birth and that one day we’d experience the liberations and freedoms they always knew to be possible. My hope, is that the seeds I plant in this lifetime are not only fruitful but regenerative, that the seeds I’ve been given to tend to, were well tended and taken care of, and that one day I get to look back and say “man, what a wild and precious life.”

I refuse to blend in by designing experiences that capture essence, not just attention. My work is intentional.

When I think about my legacy, especially now that I’m a mother, I think about the way I want my son to feel about himself— and I know a lot of that will come from the example I set for him with how I feel about myself. I want to continue to show up through every season with gratitude radiating through my pores. I want to be an example to my son and my students of what it means to both show up for community and allow community to show up for me.
I want joy to be an integral part of our lives daily, not just on the weekends. Overall, i want to leave a legacy of love. I want everything I do and everyone I touch to be done so with love so that as my son continues to grow through life, he will do the same

"I’m creating my own legacy by taking control of my creativity. I’ve learned that I work best in environments where I can express myself, whether it be a artsy full set of nails or a new scent for my body care brand. I’ve learned a lot about myself from working for others but now I can fully invest my work when I am following own dream."
