All packages are shipped through USPS, UPS or FedEx and will have a tracking number attached in the email when your order has been placed. If you've received a tracking number, your parcel has left the Nadora Iman location and is on its way to you.

Shipping varies based on your location. We're based in Atlanta and offer two options, standard and expedited. You can expect to pay anywhere from $5–$12.

We work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once it ships, you'll receive an email with more information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

We accept exchanges under certain conditions. If you ordered the wrong color or size, we're happy to discuss. Items must be unworn and in the same condition you received them.

Our silk scarves are 100% Grade 6A Mulberry Silk, 14 momme.

Silk grade: 

Silk is graded A, B or C, with Grade A the highest quality. Within each grade there's a scale from 1 to 6. Our pieces are crafted from 6A silk, the highest grade.

Momme

Momme measures silk's weight and quality. The higher the momme, the more durable and luxurious the silk. For lightweight silk scarves, 11–14 momme is recommended. We're always looking for the best material.

Hand wash all silk using a gentle detergent, then let it air dry. To relieve wrinkles, steam your silk scarf with a garment steamer.

How to Remove Makeup & Oil Stains from Silk

Silk is delicate, so treat stains gently and as soon as possible. Never rub or scrub the fabric, as this can push the stain deeper into the silk.

1. Blot, Don't Rub

Gently blot excess makeup, oil, or moisture with a clean, dry white cloth or lint-free towel. 

Work from the outside of the stain toward the center to help prevent it from spreading.

2. Absorb Fresh Oil

For fresh oil-based stains, lightly cover the area with cornstarch. Let it sit for 15–60 minutes to absorb excess oil. For heavier oil stains, you can leave it overnight.

Gently brush the powder away with a soft, clean brush.

3. Gently Clean

If the stain remains, hand-wash the silk in cool water using a pH-neutral detergent specifically formulated for silk or delicate fabrics.

Avoid bleach, vinegar, harsh detergents, and heavy-duty stain removers, which can damage silk's natural fibers and affect its color.

Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first.

4. Dry Flat

Do not wring or twist the silk.

Instead, gently press or roll the piece in a clean, dry towel to remove excess water. Lay flat to air-dry away from direct sunlight and heat.

Never tumble dry silk.

A Little Care Goes a Long Way

Our silk pieces are made to be worn, loved, and lived with. With proper care, your Nadora silk can be enjoyed for years to come.

All of our claw clips are made with cellulose acetate and can be wiped clean with a warm cloth. If you notice any stretching, place the clip in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then dry it thoroughly.

Our metal clips are made with sterling silver, either gold plated or sterling silver alone. Treat them as you would jewelry. To avoid tarnishing, keep them away from wet surfaces for extended periods of time.

Lace is tricky to clean. You can hand wash it or machine wash it with similar delicates, or spot clean with a cloth.

Velvet is delicate. If your velvet piece gets dirty, spot clean it with a warm cloth and let it air dry.

Our hair and claw clips come in 5 sizes:

• Mini: close to the size of a quarter.
• Petite: small clips, 3–6cm.
• Sweet spot: mid-size clips that get the job done, 6–8cm.
• Biggie: large clips, perfect for curly hair and braids, 8–10cm.
• Mega: our XL clip that holds everything in place without budging, 10–13cm.

Most of our clips are made from cellulose acetate, which is plastic-free, gentle on the skin and less allergenic.

Other materials include resin, and some pieces feature rhinestones or velvet.

Our hand-illustrated silk scarves are made from high-quality 100% Grade 6A silk that protects your hair instead of damaging it.

Pieces that aren't silk are made from a breathable ribbed fabric or tulle that's still fashionably appropriate.
